Welcome to the UnitedStatesMilitia.com community !
As a citizen of the United States, you are a member of the Constitutionally guaranteed unorganized militia.
Everything you have heard about militias from the media is likely wrong. Main stream news has primarily reported on the negative stereotypes and criminal activity of groups that have nothing to do with militia. The true militia has exactly the opposite purpose; to uphold the law and the Constitution.
The USM is a growing community of Americans that believe that the supreme laws of our Constitution must be diligently protected and upheld. Fostering the lawful rebirth of State militia is a crucial step in preserving the Republic.
America promises freedom for all and we pride ourselves on being inclusive; Every Color, Every Culture, One Country.

Alarm & Muster: Advance Communications
ALARM & MUSTER
How to Join The Alarm & Muster
Greetings to all newcomers to the Alarm & Muster forums. Let me make this completely clear, joining the A&M Forums does not mean you have joined the Alarm & Muster Project. Members of the forum who are not members of or somehow connected to a member of the A&M Project will not receive "call-tree tests" or "muster tests" in the future.
For those who wish to join the Alarm & Muster Project, please step out from behind the protective veil of this forum and have yourselves counted.
Visit: Join Alarm & Muster for details on how to join.
The Alarm & Muster Mission Statement:
The Alarm & Muster Project has always been concerned with the creation of a
network of communication of like minded men and women nationwide that would refuse the infringement of their freedoms. It is our unalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and we will allow no man, no one, to infringe upon these. We are the children of 1775, if not by blood, then by spirit; and we extend our hand of welcome.
What We ARE & What We Are NOT:
We are the following (but not limited to):
•Supporters of small government
•Believers of the Bill of Rights
•Defenders of the 2nd Amendment (in word and deed)
•A nationwide network of communication for the purposes of
What We Are Not.
We are not any of the following:
•A Militia movement
•A political activist group
•A patriot’s pep rally
•A survivalist organization
•A paramilitary organization
•A “secret combination”
What is the purpose of the A&M Project?
The purpose of the A&M Project is to put you and others like you in touch with each other in the unfortunate event of an emergency.
What do we define as an emergency?
An emergency, in relation to the A&M Project is, but not limited to: (1) a future gun ban accompanied with a turn-in/confiscation,
(2) similar confiscations that occurred in NOLA,
(3) a firearms registration similar to what Canada enacted,
(4) other natural and/or man-made disasters.
What is a "Call Tree?"
The call-tree is not a new concept in any fashion and is built in a hierarchical tree structure. The call-tree concept allows quick communication to multiple contacts in different physical locations. The call-tree structure of the old alarm and muster prior to the start of the American Revolution consisted of horse riders, lights, bells, and even musket and cannon shots. This rapid method of communication was responsible for towns as far as 25 miles to be alerted while British regulars were still be unloaded in Cambridge.
The call-tree structure also ensures that one person is not contacting more people than is necessary. If you’re contacting more than 6 or 7 people, then your call-tree needs to branch!
Racism/Language and Alarm and Muster!!!!
Thread Started on May 15, 2009, 8:13
I am posting this to everyone in an effort to avoid singling anyone out, and am in the hopes that each of you will read it and take it to heart. This post is not meant to insult anyone, but is posted as a reminder of what we are here for.
Several Posts lately have been based on race in their content. Let me make this very clear. THE ALARM AND MUSTER IS NOT RACIST!!!!! I am positive that this is not the image we wish to display to the public.
Each of you is entitled to your opinions and this is in no way an attempt to censor those opinions, however, this is not the forum for such posts.
This forum is about support of the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment to that Constitution only. We accept any Constitutional supporter regardless of their race, color, or creed as is stated in our FAQ.
There are plenty of places on the web to post on your opinions about topics other than the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment, please use those other forums for posts of this type.
We are a group of educated individuals and posts of this type do nothing to further our stated goals, and can make us sound uneducated and racist.
While we are on the subject of language, please keep it clean. If you would not let your neighbors children or your mother read what you posted, then rethink and edit your post, everyone here is educated enough to get their point across without posting curse words.
Please let this serve as official notice that any sort of racist post will be deleted without notice. Cursing will be edited by staff, so if you do not want your post edited, make sure you edit it yourself before posting!
We thank you for your support of the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment and Alarm and Muster.

Well, by their very nature they ARE militia, so I'm not certain what the Militia disclaimer is for. Otherwise, what are the mustering for?
I like the concept, but dislike it when folks that share the same mind set help to perpetuate the stigma.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance
